Adjust knobs or whatever and when you are finished, press the toggle button again to resume tracking. Works like a charm. My VFR has never been the same again.

I always use a linear curve but set a small dead zone at the bottom of the curve so that unintentional head movements do not cause camera movements. Thanks for the review. The software itself is working successfully, as I can see my face being tracked in the face tracking software on the client PC while MS Flight Sim is being streamed.

You can try using DroidCam, to use your smartphone as a webcam and communicate via wireless to facetracknoir which can be anywhere. Not sure if that would help your particular program though… it is a bit of an edge case.

All in one package. Aruco Paper Tracker is the smoothest. FaceTrackNoIR was the worst even through it was a paid product. Just look at it:. You need a web cam and then software, then your games need to support the whole idea of head tracking. Yes, there will be some set up and calibrations that will need to be made. Search for it. It has a list of which games it'll work with. If you had problems with TrackIR, forget about Face Track NOIR - problem is ambient light in the room has to be really bright for it to work properly - back lighting causes problems and I found it to be real iffy at best.

I tried it before going with Track IR. Haven't had a problem with either the hat clips or the active Clip you put on your headphones - do have to recenter occasionally during a flight but just assign a hotkey. I haven't used any IR hardware but I can't see getting it to work would be any more difficult. Investigate Simconnect. I have try that also. Have you got SimConnect? Yes I have. Also reinstaled FSX Steam three times. Reinstal OpenTrack several times. After every deinstalation I was cleaning my pc with CCleaner.
