While very much a hidden object style of puzzle, it is still quite involved. And much like these there are plenty of other puzzles. They vary heavily on style and difficulty, depending on the flavor being dished out at any given moment. This allows you to treat the game more like a movie than a game, since the hints it offers are almost always up.

You can even skip puzzles entirely, and just do the ones that fit your mindset the most. The art style in this game is incredibly original and a true high point of the experience. It is almost like taking a step inside a surreal painting, while still making enough sense to be able to navigate said environment. While everything is two dimensional, there is enough suggestion of the third dimension to give the backgrounds its due depth, and of course the design is made so it highlights the different spots in which one can interact.

It should be noted that the english translation of the game is not the best, but it is nothing that detracts too much from the experience. The plot is easy enough to understand, even if it can take cataclysmic turns. Invasion 2: Doomed is a very pretty and original game, especially in terms of setting. The puzzles are varied enough to not make the experience stale, and the visuals are just stunning.
